How Can I Add Ringtones to My Motorola V710 Cellphone

If you are facing problems in getting ringtones on your Motorola v710, you are not alone. In my case, even the person at Motorola store was helpless even when he used mobilephone tools.

Motorola v710 model has "MotoMusic, which would keep you rocking with an integrated MP3 player and MP3 ringtones. You can download your favorite ringtones or songs on your Motorola v710 handset and listen to them using good-quality speaker or with the help of compatible stereo headphones.

Sprint Store

Remember, Motorola v710 model allows you to download your favourite ringtones. However, you should not use out-of-date software to download your favourite tones. This is because some of the commercial Mobile Phone Tools app sold by Motorola just don't support older handsets such as the V710 model.

You can also try downloading your favourite ringtones using the Bluetooth facility. If you have Bluetooth on your computer, you can use it as the simplest way to establish a contact with your phone's file system. This can be done using a BT adapter, which is available for around and can be easily procured from Amazon.

Or, go for TRENDnet Bluetooth USB Adapter, which enabled you to create short-range wireless connection between your pc and any Bluetooth enabled devices like your mobile Phone and PDA. The TRENDnet Bluetooth USB Adapter is portable and compact, and doesn't require cables or physical connectivity.

Enjoy the World of Ringtones even on an old handset like Motorola v710. Do not forget to share your experiences about latest ringtones available for FREE.

Choosing a Triathlon Bike - Tips and Information on Finding the Best Bike at the Best Price

The sport of triathlon is challenging, intense, fun and unfortunately expensive. From running shoes, wetsuits, bikes shoes, trisuits, and not to mention bike accessories, the money adds up. Then, you have to purchase the bike. Sure some people start out with whatever bikes they have around, some even try to compete with mountain bikes. Quickly they find that without the right kind of bike, the cycling part of a triathlon is beyond grueling.

Triathlon Bike vs. Road Bike

Sprint Store

A road bike is certainly adequate for competing in triathlons, but most people who train and race for any extended period of time, usually end up purchasing a triathlon specific bike. Why? There are many reasons, but mainly because a triathlon bike has been specifically engineered for a triathlon.

Athletes competing in triathlon have just expended massive amounts of energy using almost all of the muscle groups of the body in the pool, and immediately after the ride will have to run. Triathlon bikes are designed to conserve muscles for the run, during the ride.

The concept of a triathlon specific bike came about in the late 80s with the design of the Quintana Roo Superform. The bike had and 80 degree seat angle and 650c wheels. Skeptical professional triathletes soon turned into believers when the bike was ridden in the Ironman New Zealand and the bikes rider, Ray Browning broke both the bike and overall course records. He even began the run leg of the competition with a 30 minute lead over the second place athlete!

Incredible advances in triathlon bike design have been made over the years and the science used to design these bikes is astounding. A study performed in 2000 called The Garside Study compared the bio-mechanical benefits of a triathlon bike versus a road bike, removing aerodynamic factors. Subjects riding 24.8 miles on a road bike then running 6.2 miles were compared to subjects riding the same distance on a triathlon bike then running the same distance. The results were impressive. The athletes riding the triathlon bikes averaged a full 5 minute time savings on the run after transitioning off the triathlon bike versus the road bike.

Where to get the best deals on Triathlon Bikes

If you have already begun your search for a triathlon bike, you have learned that all of the integrated technology does not come cheap. Some of the higher end bikes can weigh as little as 13 pounds and cost well over ,000.

Deals can be found, you just have to know where to look. By all means visit your nearest bike store, ride some bikes and find out what you like. Triathlon bikes come in a variety of frames, styles, weights and colors so it is important to know what you like before you begin bargain hunting.

With the explosion of the internet, one of the best ways to find deal is to go online. Some bike stores offer limited stock online, but online auction/classified sites like eBay, Craigslist and the triathlon specific TriGearTrade.com offer a unique way to find a gently used or closeout new triathlon bike for a great price!

The most important thing to remember in your search for triathlon bike is to find out what you like and shop around for the best deal!

The Best E-Readers for Students

There are many choices in terms of e-readers out there and there are many other devices that can double as e-readers, so you can rest assured that you'll have plenty of options to choose from. Narrowing down the choices really comes down to how much you're prepared to spend and the types of features you're looking to get into.

Now, the Amazon Kindle models are particularly popular and they may well be the best e-readers on the market. The Amazon Kindle 2 has a boatload of books with nearly two million available titles, so that's a good start. Plus it comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a Sprint-powered Whispernet connection to make it one of the fastest units anywhere. You can usually find an Amazon Kindle 2 at just under 0.

Sprint Store

The Amazon Kindle DX is another popular e-reader that packs in a whole whack of battery life and 50% better contrast than the previous incarnation. It also packs a QWERTY keyboard and will run you just under 0. Students can get a good amount of textbooks on it, but it's better to double-check before you go signing up for one.

The Barnes & Noble Nook will run you around the same amount as the Amazon Kindle 2 with its Wi-Fi-only version. There's a lot of content available with this baby, too, and the Barnes & Noble connection opens up the library considerably. There is no specified textbook section yet, though, but a good amount of them are available through the normal search methods.

These are just three options you have when looking for an e-reader. Other companies, like Sony, have e-readers for students as well and these are worth a look. The best way to check out any tech product is to get on down to your store of choice for a hands-on demonstration, of course. Don't be afraid to ask questions, either, and make sure you get what you want out of your new e-reader.

The Importance of Persistence

Deep down, we understand that if we want to live the kind of life we want, we need to be persistent in reaching our goals. The ability to stick with something over the long haul makes all the difference. How do we develop this important skill?

Patience is Key

Sprint Store

If you want to learn a new subject in school, take up a hobby, or play a sport with some level of competence, you need to be patient with yourself. Even if you have a certain aptitude for a topic, a deep interest in your new activity, or a certain amount of athletic ability, you are not going to be able to walk in and be an instant expert. If you want to get good at anything, you are going to need to put in the time to practice and to learn. That's just the way it is.

Just Do It

These words are more than just a well-known slogan. They are truly words to live by. If you want to make something, anything, of yourself, you need to get up and take action. Let's say your goal is to get really good at a sport like basketball. You can sit down and read about the history of the sport, investigate what kinds of special shoes are available, or even consider whether the type of ball you use will make a difference.

While these are all things you can do to learn about the sport, they won't make you a better player. The only way to get better at a sport like basketball is to get on the court and start playing. Instead of keeping track of all the passes you don't catch and baskets you don't make, you need to think about the ones that do work out.

Focus on the Journey

This mindset can be used to achieve success in any area of life you can think of. Too many people get hung up in a negative way of thinking and it really does have an impact on the kinds of results they get. Looking at the example of basketball again, you really need to focus on the fact that as you keep practicing, you are improving your level of playing ability. The only way you are going to learn how to deal with the ebb and flow of a game is to play in a number of them.

Even the most seasoned professional basketball player is going to have an off day every now and then. The same thing will happen to you, too. That's just how it is. They have learned how to avoid looking back and instead to focus on how to do better the next time. If you are going to reach your goals, you will need to do the same.

Persistence is not a sprint, it's a marathon. Once you realize that anything worth working toward is going to take time, you may find it easier to relax and enjoy the journey. You may even have some fun along the way!

Analog vs. Digital Cellular Phones

Cellular phones are an amazing modern convenience, but it can be confusing for consumers to distinguish between the various options available. There are two main types of cellular phones: analog and digital. Each type operates slightly differently and has its own unique advantages and disadvantages.

The first cellular phones were analog phones. Analog phones are basically an extremely sophisticated radio and telephone combination. The main advantage of analog cellular phones is that they cost less than the newer digital phones. Analog phones are also a better choice for travelers, since 95 percent of the county is equipped for their use. The drawbacks of choosing an analog phone are the reduced sound quality and the slightly higher per minute rate.

Sprint Store

Digital cellular phones use the same basic technology as an analog phone. The difference is that digital phones use binary code and compression to fit more calls into a given bandwidth. Digital cellular phones offer longer battery life, better signals, and cheaper calling rates. The main disadvantage of digital cellular phones is that many parts of the country aren't equipped with the proper antennae to receive digital signals. This makes digital cellular phones inappropriate for frequent travelers or individuals who live in rural areas.

Sprint often uses the term PCS in their promotional materials. PCS stands for Personal Communications Service and is a wireless communications service very similar to cellular phone services. Many people use the term PCS as a synonym for a digital cellular phone, but a true PCS phone offers additional services such as caller ID, paging, and e-mail as part of its regular phone service.

Newer cellular phone models may offer a dual mode feature. This option allows you to automatically switch between analog and digital modes depending upon what antennae are in your range. Dual mode phones combine the advantages of both analog and digital cellular phones.

Sprinting V Long Distance Running

As there are many different types of exercise that exist within the world, it seems that there are some that out perform all others. Of course, while some of the exercises depend on hidden variables, such as intensity, weight, and repetition, others completely ignore these variables and simply are what they are.

Which brings us to running. Having been a shoe salesmen at one point in my life, it is amazing how many people come into the store looking for the perfect running shoe. Of course I ask them. "What kind of running will you be doing?" 9 times out of 10, their answer is distance running. In the politest way possible, and not to purposefully defer sales, I ask them honestly, "Why? What made you want to do distance running?" Again, I'll receive another unanimously generic answer, which is, because it's healthy. Now, in the store I simply nod my head and go about "selling", but on here, I can speak to educate, not sell.

Sprint Store

For people who already know about the differences between long distance running and sprinting and wish to continue this process regardless, then more power to you. However, don't try to justify that it is healthy for you. Now if you reply with, "It's better than sitting on the couch," then you got me there. However, for brevity sake, let's explore three common reasons why Jogging simply cannot hold up to sprinting.

A: Damage to knees and other joints

When contrasted to sprinting, light jogging and LSD (long slow distance) runs generate tremendous impact on the knees, joints, and lower back. There are many websites out there telling you that this simply is not true, and that people either go about distance running the wrong way or lack the correct running shoe technology. I've seen blogs that insist on studies favoring distance running, yet most often the link to the studies are either broken, or they don't send you to the study in general but an entire health site. Guess what, they want you to buy their product. I can do sprints barefoot and suffer no damage, except running through the occasional sticker patch.

B: Heart and lung capacity

When doing sprints, one catalysts his or heart rate into a rapid increase of beats, causing it to pump nutrient rich blood rapidly throughout the body before declining again. In long distance running, the heart rate of a runner will only increase to a "constant" before remaining at that point for the rest of the run. How is this making your heart stronger if it never has to work any harder past a certain point? Sprinting ramps up your heart beat, and then lets it decline, only to ramp it up again on your next sprint. It is here where true vascular power is developed.

Lung capacity depletes as a person continues to do long distance running. I know, it may not make sense to hear that up front, but consider this. On a long distance run, the body begins to take short, choppy breaths. However, during sprints, especially after three or four 75 yard hill sprints, one will be heaving for breath, taking large gulps of air, and with the help of a rapidly increased heart rate, will begin to spread the oxygen rich blood quickly throughout the body. This is the pinnacle of cardiovascular health. To push the body to quick ups and downs, rather than prolong unnecessary stress on the joints, lungs, and heart.

If you see a chiropractor, ask him at your next visit. I'm willing to bet he will start talking about the subluxations caused by long distance running.

There you have it, a quick compare/contrast of long distance running vs. sprinting. For a closer look at the benefits of sprinting, be sure to look for my next article Why Sprinting Gives You Six Pack Abs.

The Rent to Own Industry Asks - LCD Or Plasma TV?

Customers in rent to own stores who are considering purchasing or renting a flat panel TV frequently ask which is better - LCD or plasma TV? The answer to this question is that it all depends. In order for the customer to make the correct decision about which is best, several important considerations must be taken into account. To begin with the customer should consider which of the two types looks best. This means which screen image looks best, and also which type of frame fits the existing furniture scheme. Another consideration is what light conditions in the viewing environment might cause glare or make the image difficult to see. Similarly, the viewing angle must be taken into account - whether the customer will be seeing the screen straight-on, or from the side. Another consideration is whether computer programs or games such as Sony Playstation or Nintendo Wii will appear on the screen. Another question to ask is whether the customer will be watching primarily sports, movies, or video games. The customer has to consider what size screen he or she prefers; and how much money he or she is prepared to spend.

The LCD and plasma screens offered by the rent to own industry both measure about four inches deep and so both can be considered to be flat panel TV's. However the two types use very different technology in order to create an image. In an LCD there is a matrix consisting of thin transistors which supply the voltage to film cells of liquid crystals between two glass sheets. These liquid crystals open and close in response to an electrical charge, and this action filters the white light from a lamp located behind the screen by blocking out certain wavelengths of light to produce specific colors. The vibrant color of LCD screens is due to the intense light which shines through the banks of liquid crystals. Plasma screens, on the other hand, consist of thousands of pixels which permit electrical impulses to excite neon and xenon gas. The pixels are basically tiny florescent light bulbs on a black background which receive impulses from the TV signal. The pixels glow when excited, which produces light. Red, blue, and green phosphors in the pixels mix to make up the entire spectrum of colors visible on the screen.

Sprint Store

Although plasma TV screens have a higher contrast and deeper levels of black, LCD screens are getting better all the time, and many tier one brands of LCD screens currently perform almost as well as plasma screens. Also, a plasma screen has the ability to produce over 16,000,000 colors, so plasma screens have traditionally demonstrated higher color accuracy than LCD's. But the newest LCD screens are almost up to plasma screens in reproducing color fidelity and hence quality-wise are an equivalent rent to own business opportunity. Because LCD screens are so bright and don't glare as much as plasma screens, LCD performance beats plasma in bright rooms. On the other hand plasma screens perform better than LCD screens when viewed at an angle, although the newest LCD screens are almost as good as plasma screens in this department and LCD technology is closing the gap.

If the screen is going to be used in conjunction with a computer, then LCD is clearly the better choice. On the other hand, if the customer will be using it primarily for sports, video games, or any programs involving fast motion, then plasma looks better than LCD. When it gets down to the question of price for screens 42 inches or larger (plasma is not used in smaller screens), then plasma clearly is less expensive per inch than LCD.

Learning the Tackle, Catch, and Sprint Are Essential in Football

Tackling Fundamentals and Safety

Tackling is fundamental to football, and should receive proper attention at practices. If you, or your players don't take tackling seriously you will not stop the offense and could also cause injuries. Some points to remember when tackling:

Sprint Store

First is to cut off your opponent by placing yourself directly in front of them. You can do this by placing your foot between your opponent's feet. Also, and in coordination with your feet throw your arms back preparing to grab.

Second you want to bring your other foot into the mix, and at the same time throw your arms up and around your opponent. At this point you are well planted in front and your head should be in direct contact. The one golden rule in making a safe tackle is to never, ever lead with or try to tackle with the crown of your head. A great way to insure that you are in the right position is to practice touching your facemask to the football of the opposing player.

The third and last step is to bring your hips up and drive the opponent backwards and towards the ground. Setting yourself up for this last step will ultimately prove the success in the tackle.

Football Catching Fundamentals

To insure a proper catch, a receiver must secure the football into a proper carrying position. The points of a proper catch are: First, opening up your hands with an open triangle. Second, follow the ball with your eyes from the first time you see it in the air until it is securely placed in a tight hold. Third, roll the ball into a secure ball position before you take your eyes off the ball. Many receivers can get into a bad habit of looking away from the ball before it is stored away properly. This increases fumbles and turnovers. To prevent this, have two receivers throw to each other and as they catch it have them slow down the motion so that they pause at each catch, follow through and tuck.

A great Hand-off Drill

Running backs should constantly practice the hand off. This drill requires more than one player; it starts off with two lines, line A and line B, the front of each line facing each other a couple of yards apart. A player leaves line A with the football and runs at line B. At the same time that the first player leaves player B leaves his line towards player A, as they pass each other in the middle player A hands off the football to player B. At the point of the hand off another player leaves line A and runs towards player B, who hands off the ball to the new player. This drill should perform in a seamless motion. It is an effective drill to teach hand-off skills and help running backs achieve higher accuracy and consistency.

The High Toss Football Catch

Because not all throws are perfect you will need to practice making catches that are high or low. Here are some simple steps when making a high catch: When you go to make the high catch extend your arms, but keep your hands close together with your hands coming together in a diamond formation. Never catch or try to catch a ball with your body, especially a high ball. Once you have your hands around the ball, don't take your eyes off the ball but follow it right into your tuck. When you practice a high catch you are going to perform it subconsciously on the field, so remember extend the arms, catch and follow through.

Discount Ironman Wetsuit - Beginners Choice

Ironman wetsuits offer excellent hydrodynamics features for better buoyancy. Therefore, discount Ironman wetsuit becomes a necessity for the beginner tri-athletes to enjoy competitions such as the Ironman triathlon. To own an Ironman wetsuit is a matter of pride for a good tri-athlete who is aware that it gives a winning edge in any triathlon competition. However, being one of the leading brands in the market, these wetsuits fall under an expensive price range. Due to this reason, tri-athletes end up procuring wetsuit on sale.

There are several online stores dealing with triathlon gear, especially branded wetsuits. All of them offer discount Ironman wetsuit at competitive prices. It is, therefore, a good idea to make a survey of all the online stores to land up the best deal. You need to check on the authenticity of the store as well as the product before making the final commitment. One disadvantage of such a deal is not being able to try out the wetsuit before purchase. Sprint Store

Ironman has been synonymous to a prestigious triathlon competition since its inception. Every tri-athlete, from beginner to pro, wishes to participate in the race. However, triathlon gear is expensive and most of the times cannot be afforded by the athletes on a shoe-string budget. NASCAR's Ken Schrader - From Boy to Superstar

Kenneth Schrader's motto on his website rings true for this Missouri native. Racing and winning races are indeed second nature to this loving father of two and husband to Ann Schrader. Schrader, born on May 29 in 1955 at Fenton, Missouri, is a second generation racer in his family. Schrader recalls fond memories of his father tying a cable from the three year old's go-kart to a post in the backyard of their house while going round and round in circles. He was hooked on cars ever since. To Schrader, racing is all he knows and what he was born to do. In an interview, he exclaimed that he would race everyday if given the chance.

He started racing sprint cars in Missouri and much of the various racing venues in the Midwest during the early 70s. In 1980, he was given the chance to race in the USAC's stock car division and snatched the Rookie of the Year title. He went on to win the USAC Silver Crown Championship in '82 and took home the top spot in the USAC Sprint division the next year.

Sprint Store

Schrader then was given his big break in NASCAR when he debuted in 1984 with Elmo Langley's help. Although he qualified for the 27th spot, he came in at the 19th spot which motivated him to press forward. In 1985, he joined forces with Junie Donlavey and had three tenth-place finishes with a 16th spot finish in points and was also named Rookie of the Year. He finally won his first career pole in 1987 at the TranSouth 500. The same year, he made his debut at the Busch Series at the North Carolina Speedway with the fifth place firmly in his pocket.

In 1988, Schrader won his first pole during his first race in the Daytona 500 which marked the beginning of a 3 year winning run. Although Schrader failed to qualify for the next race, he bounced back by bringing home his first career race at the Talladega DieHard 500 and was in fifth place again at the end of it. After he won his second Cup race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, he was awarded his first Busch Series win at the Ames/Peak 200. Throughout 1990 to 1994, Schrader had a few speed bumps but was able to catch up with the pack. He grabbed his third win at the Motorcraft Quality Parts 500, a career best points in win in 1994 with fourth place and another Busch Series win at Talladega.

Schrader survived through a horrific crash in 1995 at the DieHard 500 in the Talladega Superspeedway. He recovered and went back in full force with a twelfth position win in 1996. He won his last Cup pole in Talladega in 1999 and went on to have five top-tens in 2001 although he descended to the 19th spot in standing. It was also the year that Schrader was involved in the infamous car crash that took Dale Earnhardt's life. Schrader was not able to finish up in a top ten spot in 2002, something that was virtually impossible after his first debut in 1984. He was back on track in 2003 when he added five more top tens in his already impressive list of finishes.

With 20 years of racing in NASCAR's races, Schrader still has the same zeal and passion as he did when he first started out. Schrader still rips the tracks apart given any free time and he does not seem like slowing down. Scharder's involvement with his Schrader racing entries also proves that he is far from out of the game. He enjoys every moment racing and does not doubt that he'll still have a hand in racing for as long as he can.
